Morning everybody!!! It is such a beautiful morning! I went for a walk down the path in our woods this morning. Thanks to the fact that CardinalSon is home, he mowed the tall weeds down so I can walk. Halleljuah! The dogs and I had a great time!

It’s funny. In my mind’s eye I was suddenly transformed to a breezy pavilion at Roosevelt State park, chatting the afternoon away with all of you. Thanks Marshall, for giving me such great memories!!!
It has been a sleepy day on the blog today hasn’t it? I am still hunting my smart phone. I wish it would jump out and tackle me from somewhere. However, I do like being able to text again without having to necessarily look at the phone.

Ham sammichs for lunch. Steak, potatoes & leeks, fresh garden salad and Apothic Red wine for dinner. Apothic Red is a blend of zinfandel, syrah and merlot and is a kissing cousin to cabernet sauvignon.
supper done.. kitchen almost cleaned up.. pans soaking.. now time for the sing-off.
OB.. that Red wine sounds delicous.

I had heard that this was going to be a bad winter too. I want mind snow, but please no ice.
Evening, just got back from Bear’s soccer game. Two losses in a row. However they are learning to work as a team!
Team work is very important in life. It is not always so easy to learn.
Sorry I have been out of the loop for the last week or so. The trip just about killed me. A seven hour drive took 13 hours, stopping for naps along the way. I was asleep from 630pm Sat night til 11 last night. I was up for a few hours then back to sleep for a few more hours before work. Today, it was all I could do to function. I called the neuro’s office this afternoon just before 5. The neurologist called me back a little after 8 to share my MRI results. I have a HUGELY bulging disk at C5-C6 that needs immediate attention. She is sending me to a conservative neurosurgeon for his opinion, but she is strongly recommending injections for starters. She also said for me to refuse surgery if at all possible. I’ve had neck problems for almost 10 years, and someone finally LISTENED. It should be an interesting.
Mr Fab is having a spine stimulator implanted late next week. We are just a hot mess. I dreamed this morning I was hit by a dead satellite that, oddly enough, looked like a feed bin. WEIRD.
I’ve noticed some folks are AWOL. Have we had yet another exodus? Their loss.

Mr Fab’s daughter is getting married this weekend, and I had to ask if we could attend. How sorry is THAT? She said yes, but after a lot of thought, I have decided not to attend. The trip itself would wear me out physically, and emotionally, Mr Fab is going to be heartbroken to see his daughter being walked down the aisle by her stepdad. We will see what happens. Lord at the drama.
