Good morning everyone and happy ZZZZZzzzzzzz’s to you Marshall good luck. I woke up at 2:30 and never managed to sleep again. The kittie girls finally convinced me at 5:00 am it was time for them to go out. I have been to Walmart, washed and dried a load of towels and stuff. The Parrot is up (he slept in lucky bird), now getting ready for a trip to Brandon.

AW so sorry for the dad blasted cold and OB I hope you figure your heat problem out before you have to call a repair man.

I finally though to try and crank the Explorer too late it had died. I do have the battery on the charger so maybe later it will be ok. The F150 cranked up fine but I had driven it a few weeks ago and plan to drive it next weekend when not much traffic will be out.

Everyone stay warm and wrap up it is cold outside. Love and hugs to all :)

Good morning all my dear friends. I woke up at quarter of six this morning after the FIRST night’s rest all week. I feel like a new bird! I’m going to finish CardinalSon’s shopping today while he is helping my aunt cart off stuff from her house.

Jon got the tree up in the house yesterday. I plan on finishing the rest of my Christmas shopping today and we are going to decorate the tree tonight with a fire crackling merrily in the hearth. Tomorrow we are going to wrap all the presents and CHRISTMAS will be done! Us kids pitched in monies and bought mom and dad an air conditioner for their Christmas present.

I’m buying local for my brothers and sisters. I’m getting them all a bottle of honey that was created by bees right here in Pontotoc. My pastor sells it at a local vendor.

Ahhhhh, heat is working. Replaced the thermostat and it cranked right up. Glad I didn’t have to have my friendly AC guy out.

Getting bundled up for a motorcycle ride. My Sis and BIL are coming over from V’burg and we are meeting up with a group of riders from all over to ride down to the Harley shop. It’s something to do with toys for children. Don’t know exactly, but I plan to make a contribution rather than buy a toy.

My Sis traded her Harley Sportster on a brand new 2011 Harley Softail. I’m itching to see it. Bet it will still vibrate the fillings right out of your teeth. That’s why I like metric bikes….they’re smooth as silk. But I’m happy for her. They are a Harley family.

Be careful riding in a group, OB.

Well, the trip to NOLA was postponed because of Mr. H’s work, which may or may not happen after all. There’s no point in getting bent out of shape, though. Yesterday afternoon as we were pulling out, headed to FSIL’s house for a Christmas party, I noticed tire pressure indicator was lit. Seems one of the tires gave out as we got home from the mall yesterday morning. Better in our yard than at 80 mph on the other side of Gulfport in the dark. Replacements are ordered. (yes, on top of the new drier and re-done fireplace) *sigh*

However, God’s timing is perfect as usual, as He knew we could handle it all this month.

I’ve been up since 4:15 this morning and finished Karen Robards’ “Whispers at Midnight.” Since our dishwasher went out a couple of months ago, I had to waste my time and wash dishes by hand, which to me is THE biggest waste of time in the whole world.

BE is going to cook some of his good burgers and after all this party food lately, that sounds good to me. So was the leftover tuna fish casserole I had for breakfast.

PD’s children and grands came by this morning on their way to the other grandparents for Christmas. They were tickled to hear him speak. I have set with him since. He has talked somebut hard to understand. He was easier to understand the other day. He did ask when he could go home. It was all I could do to keep from tearing up.

    • Mrs. H says:

Asking about going home might be a sign that he’s feeling better, couldn’t it? I know he’s self-conscious about the way he speaks. I hope he saw the joy on their faces when he did.

We had somewhere between 250 to 300 motorcycles riding today. Police blocked on all entrances to the interstate for us and stayed with us all the way to the Harley Dealership. It was quite a sight. I’m sure there were some motorists who became quite ticked having to wait for all the motorcycles to clear. I’d guess the convoy was about a mile long.

Other than the thrill of being part of something that big, I’d prefer to ride in a smaller group of eight to twelve bikes. Got to see Sis’ bike. Nice, real nice. She’s never had heel-toe shifter before and still wants to pull up and push down on the front lever. She’ll learn.

Wow that sounds awesome. I was gunna get a harley sportster several years ago & figured I’d learn to ride. Gas prices were hi, so I thought it’d make sense. Was just a short time away from having the money saved up to buy a nice bike I’d found & decided against it. Got a divorce instead. Spent the money on a Toyota Yaris.

I survived the myelogram. Not as bad as expected! Hopefully results ASAP to get surgery behind me. Feeing good today/granted I slept most of today. Wil catch up later. Love y’all.

Home again, home again. After being awake at 2:30 I did manage a couple of naps at the hospital one in the room sitting in what is called a stroke chair. Was not very comfortable being straight up, but my body didn’t notice as I drifted into sleep next to PD’s bed. It was special to me :)

6:05 am Good Sunday Morning!!! Be sure and don’t forget the Long John’s this morning. My temp has 32 degrees.

  13. OldBopper says:

Happy Sunday Morning!! It’s a brisk one out there. We’re headed to early church in just a few minutes. Smiles and hugs to all!!

  14. Airwolf says:

Cold on my hill. Off to church in a few minutes. Back to tonight for a repeat of our kids Christmas play!

I hope it’s a pleasant day for you!

  15. Clucky says:

I want a nap. Neck hurts. Whaaa whaa waaaaah!

Poppy is flying home today, for keeps. Not sure what happened down there, but we know he lost his phone (new 4S), and used a friend’s phone to call last night. Praying he wasn’t robbed or worse. Mr Fab is driving down to meet him at the airport with his dog, Toby. He is a spoiled-rotten Bichon Frise that has caused all sorts of upheaval during his short time here. We’ve been working like mad to get the guest room ready since Pop plans to spend a while with us. So much to
    Do..
And all I want is a nap. Chicklette is amazed-tonight will be the first cantata she’s watched as far as she can remember. Tonight’s the night.
