Today’s Weight: 209 lbs.
I ran 3.04 miles in 28 minutes. That’s the second fastest I’ve ever run that distance (I’m slow). Ten weeks ago, I could not run a mile without walking. I weighed in at 209 (on their scale) for a loss of four pounds this week and a total of 34 pounds since I started Fit4Change.
On the way home, I drove by the Overlook off of the Natchez Trace Parkway. As the sun rose, I was thankful. Very thankful. Thankful for another sunrise. Thankful I’m on this side of the grass. Thankful for my life. I’m thankful I’m back in good enough shape to truly enjoy that life. Tomorrow I’ll run a 5K with my sons. We’ll have a great time together.
That’s what it is all about. Making memories.
I have two weeks of the program left. Like life, I’m going to make the most of it.
