Good morning to everyone. Coop I hope you got the power back last night or at lest sometime this morning.
MrsH I know it probably didn’t set well with Em and El but Mother always knows best.
Clucky no thanks on the kittens still getting used to my 2 year olds and them to me.
A short day for me at work, company picnic today.
AW don’t know when you are leaving but safe travels and try to stay in touch.

Coop, I tried again with the dill this morning. It’s the thick stems that were burning, so I cut just the feathery tips off and tried again. Starting with 1 minute, then 30 seconds, then 30 more. That seemed to do it. No flames this time :)
A Maroon Band friend just posted some pictures from about 1980 or so. Man, I wish we’d had digital cameras back then… There was one of my roomie and me and Mr. H. Stacy Lou passed away several years ago. We had gone to high school together after she moved from Kosciusko to Jackson.
Good morning. Beautiful day outside. Even though it’s mushy, I hope to cut grass today.
My pipes came in late yesterday. So now I have pipes and baffles. Waiting on the gaskets and fuel processor. Maybe by next weekend I’ll have it installed.

Nope, still no power. Came on in to the office and got ready here. Hope it’s back on by this evening, otherwise, everything in the fridge/freezer is done for.

OB are you making the bike louder?
I replied earlier but apparently didn’t get it posted. Yes the new pipes will be louder, thus the need for baffles. I wanted to replace my OEM pipes which have been badly scratched but couldn’t afford the OEM’s. Got Vance and Hines Cruzers and Cobra Fi2000R fuel processor. Heard a set on another Suzuki C50 and decided the baffles, which decrease the sound by 10 to 12 decibels would be a good addition. Now just waiting on the gaskets.
Yes AW, it will be louder but not ear busting loud. I have baffles to tone it down. Actually I wanted new pipes to replace the ones I scratched about a year ago and couldn’t afford OEM replacements.
Afternoon home at last. Such a long day–just kidding. AW I understand some daddy/dSughter time. I wished I could have some again :(
Just checked and it’s still showing out on Entergy’s website. It’s been 24 hours.

I HAVE POWER!! It just came back on!! YAY!! Now I can wash clothes and get ready for my weekend with Cub. I’m headed to Vburg first thing in the morning. We are going to work in his garden and on some shrubs (trees) that are taking over the front of his house. I’m excited!
REALLY thankful for linemen that work all kinds of hours to keep spoiled folks like us in air-conditioned comfort.

Well, poo. I had it in my mind that the tomato festival in CS was tomorrow, first Saturday in June. It’s the LAST Saturday in June. Oh well…guess I won’t be teaching Cub about making homemade spaghetti sauce with real tomatoes. That will have to wait. I did just pick a bunch of blueberries for us to enjoy as a snack!
