Mr. H has a knee injury, not serious, but it puts a serious cramp in his running plans. He may use the rowing machine. I may have to get my rowing done in the evening.
Good morning!! MrsH I hope his knee heels quickly.
Last night I let the kittie girls in and just about always leave the sliding glass door open. Well they ate, they laid around, they went outside, they came back in. Then all was quiet. I looked around and figured they would be back, then a few minutes later I heard one eating again. Welllll, no. The big, ugly possum was in my house eating. OH MY!!!! Luckily as I was trying to get my shoes on wondering what to do he/she turned themselves around and ran back out the door. It was closed immediately. I am going to have to talk to those kittie girls about inviting certain friends over for supper.
LOL! Talk about an exciting evening! There’s been a possum or raccoon eating our cat’s food on the carport but thankfully it’s never tried to come inside!
LOL!!! LOL!!! reminds me of the commercial for eye glasses where the lady sayd ‘here, kitty, kitty kitty’ and the raccoon runs in. LOL!!! Oh that is sooooooo funny! I must tell you a possum story later. I’m glad I peeked in. I needed that laugh.
Tinker Bell had a fun time in the house slippin and slidding around the floor, out like a flash, back in and to a dead stand still. So funny. She acturally dusted a wall or two as she tried to turn before plowing into the wall. She must have been frisky due to the cooler temps.
Morning! Love the cooler temps!!
Forgot to wish AW & Rambette Happy Anniversary!
Wanders in/nods hello/gets some coffee/goes back to work.
Oh, I’m sorry, Happy Anniversary AW and Rambette!!
Mornin!
It feels awesome outside!
Happy Anniversary AW and Rambette!
Ooops thanks for the reminder — happy anniversary AW and Rambette. I hope you enjoy your days away from the normal routine.
morning gang! hope all have a good day.
Happy anniversary AW and Rambette.
Happy Anniversary, AW and Rambette !!! Have a great day!
I woke up thinking it was Wednesday and wondered how I let Tuesday slip away when I need to call some folks, but I was relieved to see that it’s only Tuesday and I have nowhere to go today, thank goodness.
Hey! Forgot to come in and speak this morning. Sorry.
PM, I bet seeing a possum in the house was a bit startling! I’m not sure what I would have done. I’m surprised a squirrel or something hasn’t come in through the doggy door. I think I mentioned the snake in my yard last week. Kiddo got scared that it would come in through the doggy door and was quite paranoid for a few days. She was scared to go outside at all, then realized that it could come in the house and was scared to be inside, too. She had herself a dilemma.
Strolls back in/sniffs,oh good,fresh coffee/pours a cup/adds a little cream/shakes empty equal box/mutters profanity/goes back to work.
Molly about 4 years ago we had 2 different snakes I’m the house on 2 separate occasions and they did not come in the door not sure how they made it in. I may have to move if that was to happen. Luckily the food bowl was right inside the doorway and that I did not throw my shoe at him. He could have went down the hall and to unknown hiding places. The door will be closed after the kittie girls come in and they will just have to let me know when ready to go out.
Oh, Blues I would pass you a box but I dont buy groceries :)
Blues, I’m sending you some Sweet ‘n Low!
Thnx, LE, I’ll just use real sugar. I don’t guess it’ll kill me.
Between fat and cancer, I’ll take fat: I can fight it by myself. I don’t use artificial sweetener.
afternoon.. I had to run to wally world at lunch (went to the one in clinton) and got to meet Joe Horn former New Orlean’s Saint. He was promoting his BBQ Sauce… some good stuff. And believe this it was him passing out the samples of it not some one else. He was having fun with the customers taking pictures and signing autographs between it all. A real nice guy.
Afternoon! Happy Anniversary to AW and Rambette!!! Finished cutting the grass. Changed the oil and filter on Boule. Had a hard time getting the filter out. Had to loosen the engine guard to make enough room. That was a major inconvenience. I’m about to take a shower and then go for a ride.
Oh had an interesting time last evening. I attended a Christian Motorcycle Association meeting with intent to join the organization. I liked everything but one. Their rule is if you are caught wearing any large patch on the back of your vest except CMA, your membership is automatically voided. I made sure they understood that NOBODY can dictate what the large patch is on the back of my vest. Before attending, I had considered having a vest for that organization and a vest for the Star Riders of which I am a member. But CMA is not flexible enough to even allow that. Oh well….that’s life and I’m moving on. BTW, my large patch is in memory of the MIA’s and POW’s, we shall never forget them.
Unless the vest is reflective and armored, I wouldn’t wear it.
I don’t wear it on the cycle. Only when I get off. You are correct.
Bye everyone safe travels going home.
Hello from Chattanooga! Thanks for all the good wishes. We visited Ruby Falls, the Incline and Rock City today. My feet are killing me.
Nice evening at the ballpark. Top of the fifth and the Ms Braves are winning. Hope the lead holds.
Sorry I didn’t check in sooner. I slept late yesterday, then was awake over 25 hours. When my head hit the pillow, I was already asleep. I got a good nap, was up for about an hour, and now going back to bed. Had a good, long visit with the ex’s parents-ok, mostly MIL but whatever. We had not visited in months; it was so good to just talk. The hugs were awesome :)
I’ve found out this week that two people I love dearly have cancer-one is Stage 4 liver/lung/pancreas. I WILL go see him this week. Too many people I love are dealing with cancer. Very seldom do I talk to anyone I’m close to without making sure to tell them I love them every time we speak/email/text. That’s been a tough lesson to learn: Life is short and can end in the blink of an eye. NEVER pass up the chance to tell someone you love them! Thank them for the little things-after they are gone, it’s the little things you will miss the most. Tell someone they have made a difference in your life.
ALL of you had made a difference in my life. We laugh, we cry, we giggle, we send Blues virtual Equal packets (heh). Your kindness, your words, your prayers have touched my heart and I am so proud to call every one of you friends. (Even the Boss.) I could go on for hours, but y’all know me, so I’ll wrap it up. When you read this, know that EVERY DAY, I think of each of you. (PM, you have really been tugging on me lately.) Please know I consider this my family in so many ways.
Sweet dreams. May God Bless all of us with a good night of sleep with no bad dreams, and may we wake feeling rested and renewed.
Love you.

Clucky I enjoyed your comments. It is so true so many things can happen in split second. PD’s words to his brother was “Life is short, but death is even shorter”! PD had his faults like I do, but he had a lot of wisdom for his short time here. He also had a lot of wit that would make you laugh. Clucky I am doing fine, God is with me. He gave me the time I needed with PD to be reminded the person I am and who I was meant to be. When I was told that PD was worried about me losing my way home, I knew he worried years ago had he done enough. I realized a few months ago he was also talking about my spiritual home too, that I would continue to be the strong, determined woman I was when he met me and I have been truely blessed.
I feel the same for this group of people that I call friends. I talk to co-workers and I mention my friends, but you rarely see me with anyone, but I know what friends were lifting me up in prayer when it has been needed the most and I thank all of you for that.
Good nite and the nite lite is on.
PS no possums in the house tonight :)
