Sunday Free-For-All

Good morning! We drove to pick up Pip yesterday.  She’s a seven-week-old Border Terrier puppy (same breed as Banjo). In fact, she was born at almost the precise moment Banjo died.  She’s full of moxie and energy.

Good morning to you all!. Congrats to you and your family for the newbie, Pip will be spoiled rotten in no time. She could not have a better family.

Mornin. We partied with the 100 year old yesterday. She had decided she didn’t want a party and wasn’t coming. But she came anyway and enjoyed every minute of it. I bet she slept like a rock last night.

Just posted a few pictures from the party on my Facebook page. I’ll be getting more from the others who took pictures and will add them later.

Morning folks. We left home yesterday at noon, drove to Mendenhall and attended the wake for my friend! Had supper with some friends. We ate at Berry’s in Magee. Food was great. Finally got back on the road about 8:30 pm. Got home at 1:00 am. I think I’m too old to do that very much. 510 miles round trip! Now I’m really dragging!

Boss congrats on your new family member!

Pip is adorable. BE is out walking Lupe now. I missed GMA this morning, but I did get up in time to see most of Sunday Morning and had a bacon biscuit from Krystal.

I think it’s time to have another Boston Tea Party, but it may have to be down south this time. Let the record reflect that I am burned up by restaurants that have hiked the price of tea up so make a killing. Do they think we are so stupid that we wouldn’t notice? It was inching up toward $2.00 and that was bad enough, but now a lot of them are charging over $2.00, even $2.50, and another problem with that is not only the pirating on the price, but getting a refill is next to impossible.

Congrats on the new baby Boss! Bleuz and I went to early church. Came home and got some oil so I could change Bleuz’s.

Waiting on a filter that won’t be here until after 5 pm today. I think my order of miscellaneous parts from Got Gear will be in Tuesday or Wednesday. I have the original seats and sissy bar but no brackets to hold them. As soon as I get the brackets, that boy’s appearance will change. I’m also adding a luggage rack.

Legal, I agree about the price of a glass of tea. We just drink water when dining out rather than ordering tea. But we will still have the occasional beer or glass of wine.

Rally’s has a dollar Coke as does McDonalds. BTW, I have some coupons for McDonalds and with PQ out of town, I exercised one the other day. One day I’m going to learn. It was not very tasty, but it filled the hole in my stomach.

Hope y’all have a good day. Enjoy, the rain is on it’s way.

Molly so glad she was here to enjoy that party. To have sound mind and being able to be at home at that age (I know with help) is something to celebrate.

OB sounds like you have been batchlering just fine.

AW I hope you get rested up. Lots of mikes in one day is a chore no matter how nice the ride is.

  8. Mrs. H says:

AW, we passed through Magee yesterday, too. On our way to Crystal Springs. It was a pretty small gathering at our reunion. If we hadn’t been there with the SIL, it would have been half the size!

    • Airwolf says:

My friends that we ate with are from Crystal Springs!

    • Legal Eagle says:

See, if you had had the reunion at Pearl Park again this year, the other side of the family would have showed up.

I hope before you left Crystal Springs you picked up some Louise’s ribs and trimmings.

  9. parrotmom says:

Evening everyone!! I hope you had a terrific weekend.
