The pilot light went out immediately after being lit last night, but it’s amazing how warm a little 12 pound dog can be.

BE is going to see an aunt of his today and a friend of mine just called to see if I wanted to ride up to the casino in Philadelphia with her in a little while. Does a bear, well, never mind…going north soon.

Morning at 9:40 am. The critter guy made it by late to set traps. No raccoons caught. This time he put one on the ground. He said marshmallows would not entice a cat since they don’t like sugar. Well someone forgot to tell Itty Bitty. She wanted out about 4:30 she is not sticky, but her fur is very stiff in some areas . She was none to happy. The guy told me how to open the cage. She ran like a scalded dog. Luckily she back to the house and was able to enjoy a whole can of food by herself. She let me hold and pet her. So she isn’t mad at me.

Clucky will be texting you after while. Stay warm it is only 46 in my home town.

Back yard is cut. Still 47 degrees. Not sure I have cut grass when it was so chilly.

I wanted a good burger and onion rings for lunch today, but didn’t want to drive to Fondren to Rooster’s. So I tried a local restaurant that someone said they were good. It was ok, I wished I would have made the drive. I stopped for dessert on the way home. Gee, if I thought I was cold before, I am shivering now after the Frosty from Wendy’s, but it was good.

Our Church choir did some landscaping at a Habitat House that will be dedicated this afternoon. The weather was GREAT!!

32 years ago, the weather in Jackson was much like it is here today: cool, overcast. I will never forget the way that day felt. MSU was up by 3 points over Bama, but the Tide was inside the 10 with less than a minute on the clock. 1st down. The bass drums started a heartbeat rhythm…. baBoom …baBoom …baBoom….. 2nd down. no score … baBoom …baBoom …baBoom….. 3rd down. the defense was holding them. baBoom…baBoom…baBoom…..4th down and they DIDN’T MAKE IT. The Dawgs win!!!!!!!!!

I’m home. We had a good time, didn’t win any money, but my friend had enough points for a free lunch for both of us and I found a roulette table….

We are the 4th of 4 bands in the finals. Wesson, Enterprise, and Eupora have performed. Now is our time to shine!

Thanks, Leagle! My phone died before I could post results.

4 in a row, y’all! Wow, they did it again!! It’s 142 am, and this old bird is on the nest. My rooster couldn’t attend-he’s sick, so he stayed home and I rode with another band mama :)
