    Wake up, sleepy heads!!!
    Good Morning!

  2. parrotmom says:

Good morning GG and Marshall. Again another awesome shot of a sunrise.
I hope MsB is able to kick the crud to the curb quickly. Coop and PNC I hope your big sis has safe travels home later this week. Hope everyone makes it to their destinations today. Love, hugs, and prayers to all with a special mention for CornPop, Orville, and Bo who has joined us on occasion.

*fluttering in right quick* Oh wait, gotta brush the water off of my tail feathers it’s not raining out there, but the mist is thick enough to drown in. *red wing salute* Red bird here!

Great shot Marshall! I need to visit that part of Jackson again sometime. I enjoyed my time there last June.

Parrotmom, how is your job coming? And I do pray that you are doing well. I know it has been a hard year.

Alright, I’ve got a drop dead 12:30 deadline. Don’t want my tailfeathers plucked so I’d best get at it.

  4. Airwolf says:

Morning folks! We got some rain but not much. Now it’s just misty and dreary. I broke the blade belt on my JD mower while cleaning leaves yesterday. Now to the shop.

    Hope your day is good.

Oh they finally took Daddy out of contact isolation and moving back to his regular room!

  5. Molly says:

Mornin. There was a storm? I didn’t hear a thing. Last week when I didn’t have to get up early, I could barely sleep at all. I don’t think I slept past 6 am any, and 5 am most days. This week, now that I’m back on a rigid schedule, I could sleep for days at a time. Why does it always work that way?

  6. Clucky says:

    Beautiful picture, MR.

I made it home around 830 last night. The dr. walked in just as I hit send on that post yesterday! I got good news. Whew! I went to Michael’s for 2 things, but left with 3 bags. That place overwhelms me!! They have a desk on sale right now that is EXACTLY what we’ve been looking for. 2 employees loaded in onto a special XL buggy for me when I realized…IT WON’T FIT IN MY CAR. The sale is over Saturday, and I don’t see me returning to Jackson this week. I asked if I could order it online, but it’s in-store only. Grrr.

We must have had storms last night/this morning, because I woke up in the same position I was in when I fell asleep.

  7. Mrs. H says:

Howdy, folks. I working hard this week. There’s a lot going on that HAS to be done before Friday because Mr. H and I are headed out of town. December 1st is the 32nd anniversary of our first date. (we went to the House of Kong on Hwy 12 in Starkville!) We’ll be in Atlanta (going to Ikea to buy him a futon for his new office space), and he said we HAVE to eat Chinese :) We had checked on getting the futon on line but the shipping was $299!!
We bought a roof rack for the Speed 3 for less than that and we can use it for lots more stuff.

Morning, uh afternoon everybody. Foggy, misty, damp and just downright unpleasant outside. We had lots and lots of thunder last night. I finally just got out of bed about 4:30 am. Don’t know how much rain we had.

Got to leave out and run some errands in a few, but first, lunch.

  9. Clucky says:

Mmmmm, lunch. But first, outside to 1. Confirm OB’s description and 2. Bring in the goodies I picked up last night. No, I didn’t bring it in last night because of the rain, and the drive alone wears me out. This will be fun…

Miss Thang wants us to decorate the house & put up the tree tonight. I’m not sure if that will happen this early..Coco and JJ, the inside kitties will have WAY too much fun with in inside tree!!

  10. parrotmom says:

Clucky have fun checking out you goodies today. I wanted some lunch but the cafeteria didn’t have anything that just screamed at me saying it was good :(. I guess if it would have screamed I really would have been afraid of it.

Molly, I too have had the same problem this week. I feel I could sleep a few more hours.

  11. cardinallady says:

Hey, flitting through again. Went home and cooked me some lunch, fed the dogs and cats and chickens. got me some clothes together to wash or I’m going to be running barely dressed tomorrow and it’s supposed to be COLD

  12. parrotmom says:

Home again, home again. My parrot is so happy to see me.

  13. Mrs. H says:

I finished a shrug knitted from the pale yellow baby alpaca wool Mr. H brought me from his trip to Peru last year.
    I love it.
I think Mr. H does not.
    I don’t care :)

  14. Mrs. H says:

Question: When an application requires a 500 word essay, are they looking for exactly 500 or is there a “+ or -” factor?

  15. Airwolf says:

    Usually means at least 500.

  16. dhcoop says:

    Evenin!

WHEW! What a busy day! I couldn’t believe how much the temp dropped this morning from the time I left for work and noon. Crazy Mississippi weather.

Finally heard from Mom. Dad had a “procedure” today to remove a polyp discovered during a recent colonoscopy. Everything went well and they made it home safe and sound.

About to crochet some throw pillows. :)

  17. pncpnthr says:

Evening. MY JOB IS NOW A PERMANENT POSITION!!! Well, it will be as of Monday of next week. I’m really enjoying working again. Didn’t think I’d ever say that!

Now for an early turn-in. Storms were scary last night, didn’t get much sleep.

  18. Clucky says:

Bizarre. Half the house is without power. It’s 20 minutes before midnight. I’m about to flip some breakers and see what happens. Of course, it IS the side our bedrooms are on:/

  19. Mrs. H says:

I think it ended up at 518. She’s taking it to school for her favorite teacher to read before she posts it to the Bagley Engineering site. It begins, “Space, the final frontier,” and ends with “small steps and giant leaps.” It’s about whether or not the manned space mission should continue. She’s an excellent writer. :)
