Friday Free-For-All

Today there will be a strange yellow ball in the sky. Don’t stare at it — it will hurt your eyes. It’s called the sun. And it looks like it will be hanging around for a while.

To quote E.L.O.’s Mr. Blue Sky:

Sun is shinin’ in the sky,
There ain’t a cloud in sight
It’s stopped rainin’
Everybody’s in a play
And don’t you know
It’s a beautiful new day.

Sunset

Morning everyone. Marshall thanks for the lively picture and the warning to not stare at the sun. I so enjoyed seeing the promise of the sunrise at 6 this morning when looking out my door.

MsS so sorry for the loss of your fur baby. Take comfort that she went on her own and not you not having to make that decision.

    Love and hugs to all.

Mornin. So sorry, MsB, about your fur baby. I know how hard that is. I still miss my little Buddy who died in May 2011. Pets are such a huge part of our lives.

I sat through American Idol for nothing last night. They didn’t show the audition of the girl we were watching for. Still don’t know if she made it through or not. The show wasn’t as bad as I expected. Last time I saw any of it, Simon Cowell was there and he is such a jerk that I only watched about 5 minutes. At least these judges aren’t so rude. Still don’t care to see anything that Nicky Manaj creature is on. She’s disgusting.

morning gang! Doesn’t the sun look wonderful! Yesterday on the way home, I noticed how blue and clear the sky was such a wonderful sight after all the rain we have had.

    everyone have a great friday!

    Mornin!

Molly, I was not as displeased with AI as I thought I would be.

It is beautiful outside! So happy to see the sun! (but I won’t stare into it)

    Everyone have a happy Friday!

Baby it’s cold out there! Sun is a beautiful site.

I hope your day is awesome!

Stumbles in. For real this, time. Been having “inner ear” trouble all week. If you’ve never had it, it’s a horrible feeling. I’m getting better, but still a bit dizzy at times. Now, watch me fall down as I go back to work.

    • Airwolf says:

Blues I had that problem before. I would stagger around like a drunk. Most of my problem were in Southeast Asia with the excessive humidity. Everytime it would happen the flight surgeon would ground me. I guess they didn’t want me bending sheetmetal!!!

  7. parrotmom says:

Hey Blues, you be careful with that dizziness. Hope you get better soon and was good to see you.

  8. Molly says:

Blues, I feel your pain. I have had severe inner ear problems. Years ago, I woke up and my whole world was spinning – before I even tried to get out of bed. That was a fun day – the first of many fun ones. I don’t have many problems now, but occasionally, without warning, everything starts spinning on me. Whatever caused it took 50% of my hearing in one ear and I always have ringing in my ears.
I hope your world finds its upright position and stays there for you!

  9. parrotmom says:

Evening everyone. Hope you are enjoying your evening. The stars and moon were just as beautiful as the sunshine today.

This is my third attempt. Somehow I’ve been hitting keys that take me away from the site.
Evening y’all. Finished the third of four planned deep periodontal cleanings today. One more and then I’ll have periodontal surgery. This part isn’t too bad. Don’t know about the other part.

Going riding with my group tomorrow. We’re headed to Philadelphia, Ms. Don’t know which direction our ride master is taking us, but it’s always an interesting route he plans.

Sorry to hear about your kitty, MrsB. Hugs to you.
