Morning folks!! Was the rain in the forecast and I just missed it? At least it wasn’t pouring on my drive in.
You have a great day!
I hadn’t heard about any rain for today either. It is supposed to be bad tomorrow afternoon and night.
Mornin. I’m leaving work at lunch today not to return until next Monday. YAY!!! Kiddo leaves early tomorrow am for New York on a school trip. She will get back late Sunday night. I know they will have a blast on that trip.
And, while she’s gone, I’m just going to relax and not worry about much. I’ve got some projects to work on at the house. But I’m not planning to work very hard at anything. I do need to take some clothes to a consignment shop. Kiddo has been working out and is really trimming down, so all her clothes are falling off of her. Time to clean out her closets and go shopping, I guess.
Mornin!
I think the rain surprised even the weather people. They are saying it’ll move on quickly, though.
Molly, enjoy your vacation!
Hope everyone has a great day!
morning gang!
yeah the rain was a surprise… so was the big roll of thunder.. scared the moo so bad he tried getting under my pillows.
well everyone have a great day.
LOL! I’m glad I wasn’t the only one surprised by water from the sky. You’d think we lived in Noah’s day and had never seen it before huh? But i felt the same way all of you did when I walked outside. I left some quilts out to air out before I put them in the car in storm preparation and they were getting sprinkled on so I snatched them up and put them in the house right quick.
I got my car cleaned out. It will drive faster now. Not loaded down, for a bit anyway. Alrighty I’ve got to get myself a little bit busy and finish smoothing out the wrinkles in this newspaper and get it to bed. Be back later.
The sun has been trying to break through.
Drizzling up here! It was not forecasted!
*present.*
Didn’t get any rain today. I started cleaning the pine pollen off the porches and carport. Still need a couple of days to get it done right. Went for a nice ride this afternoon. First time in short sleeves and hi-vis vest. Felt mighty good. PQ is still in McComb. Thinks she will be home on Thursday.
