Morning! Everyone must be shopping. I’m working. :) thankful to have a job I enjoy!

Several have posted on yesterdays FFA. No shopping for me. Those days are over. PD’s brother in another hospital told his doctor he wanted a different room. He didn’ t like all the poking,prodding all night long. His wife and I had a long chuckle on patient acting like he is in a Holiday Inn.
Y’all were right; that turtle pie made an excellent appetizer! I took it easy this year with only the two of us here to eat and had turkey breast, dressing, cranberry sauce, little english peas, stuffed eggs and crescent rolls. BE made some banana nut muffins a few minutes ago and then I’m going to play bridge at 1:00. I can’t wait to get back and have some turkey and dressing leftovers. Usually the first thing I do is have a turkey sandwich, but I didn’t eat enough dressing to fill up the dressing gap.
Just finished some turkey sandwiches. Oldest daughter and Grand daughter are headed back to Southaven in PQ’s old car. The daughter brought her jalopy down and traded it in for PQ’s. I’m going to give the jalopy to the Kidney Foundation. Before anyone asks, you really don’t want it. It has engine and electrical problems.

afternoon (my case morning was shopping all night) I got all but 1 item I was after last night. and picked up 2 items I wasn’t excepting. best deal Bath and Body works – $400 worth of product for $100 and this included 2 of their VIP bags. This got me 60 to 70 % done with my gifts.
Now gotta get ready to go back out to the grocery store after the LSU/Arkansas game.
PD is on oxygen no longer on ventilator.

BE fixed me a turkey sandwich before I left today and I had turkey and dressing a few minutes ago – oh, and the last piece of turtle pie.
I accidently fell asleep last night around 7:00 p.m. At some point BE turned the lights and TV off. I woke up later and tossed and turned and couldn’t go back to sleep, so I got up and walked into the kitchen and found out it was 2:15. I stayed up, drank some iced tea, switched to coffee around 5:00, read my book, and I’ve been up since then. I don’t dare lie down right now to watch anything on TV, so I’m working on staying upright long enough for a sensible bed time to roll around.

I seem to be missing Itty Bitty tonight. I have been looking for her for about 45 minutes to no avail. She usually comes when I whistle if she is not at the door. I just rode around and still have not seen her. I hope she is not injured or accidently locked up in a garage or something. Becuase she is ferral she doesn’t like strangers although she may watch the walkers go by. Tinker Bell the Calico is as sweet as can be and happy not to have to share the food bowl :)

Think I’m going to try to get out and ride early tomorrow in hopes of avoiding the rain. I should be able to get in 2-3 hours if I start early enough.

Thank goodness Itty Bitty was at the door with Tinker Bell this morning. Tinker went out about 4:30 so I guess she went and found her Sis. I was dreading getting up knowing I was going to need to search for her. We are happy for now as they both are chowing down.

G’morning! Had a wrong number call at 12:30 this morning and couldn’t go back to sleep. Finally got back in bed at 3:30 this morning. Lots of clouds out there, and a bit cool, but I think I’m going to venture out anyway. I’ll just be a little later than planned.
